Today we talk about how to increase your chances of buying the house that you want in a competitive market… because we are in a Seller’s Market.
One of the biggest items is:
Be pre-approved for your financing. Talk to your Bank or Mortgage Broker before going out and shopping for houses. Most realtors will ask you if you’ve been pre-approved before taking you out shopping.
We are talking about what’s staying with the property when it closes and what’s going. These are FIXTURES (items attached to the house, like built-in dishwasher) and CHATTELS items that are movable like a fridge.his is a great place to familiarize yourself with the process. Knowledge is power!

Pro tip! Try to close during the week if you can and not on a Friday. If something unforeseen comes up on your closing date and you need to push the closing date a day, you don’t want to have to wait all weekend for Monday.

Right now in our HOT market, we are seeing multiple offers going in on properties or bidding wars if you’d like to call them that.
One way to make your offer stand out is by including a letter . Write a letter to the seller right from the . Explain to them who you are and why you want the property. You’d be surprised how many times a Seller is impressed that you took the time to write that letter and tell them how much you love their property.
